A friend whose house we minded some time back, the ones with Dixie the dog and Jimmy the cockatoo, has been saving me the twine from hay-bales. I make mats out of the string.
We went there the other day to pick up the string and...

I’ve gotten such joy in seeing some of the videos from the camera/bird feeder combo my brother-in-law and sister have. They finally found a place to put it in the yard where the squirrels won’t bother it (so far). The picture in...

We went to visit a friend the other day and I noticed this tree in her backyard.
Can you see the green string each side of the trunk? I guess the twine supported the trunk when the tree was young and now the trunk has grown over...

This last week of school, combined with Bob's appointments, and sharing cars, etc. has gotten to me. I did not get online this morning.
It is supper time, and I have not put a meal together yet.
Just two and a half more days to...

This looks awful, but it's the beginning of our home's foundation. Why do they do it this way? I don't have a clue, what they will be doing next.
Watching the man push the top soil off, was pretty exciting. Not to mention, that's...
