Connie as she looked when we first found her. - How could anyone have abandoned a dog to this fate? She would have died within 3 days if we had not found her. She could not bark, she just lifted her head and made a sound like a yawn. It developed into a real hunting dog's bay and it can be heard at a great distance unfortunately. However she only uses it for emergencies, she can bark quietly as well. The vet told us that she is a hunting dog and she has been maltreated. With us she has only experienced loving care and is now a happy dog.
