I have a digital camera and recently when I turn it on, the little thingy opens exposing the lens but lately it doesn't open all the way and I have to use my finger to get it to retract. What is the issue with this? My friend's...

ADAGIO Depending on the make and model could vary the problem, maybe battery is flat. Has it been dropped or taken near a beach. The shutter covers on most compact camaras are usually prone to breakdown as they are weak, Check your warranty!!!!
