One of my friend informed me that the idea of having the bite on the apple logo is to not to confuse apple with tommoto.

Patsie Hatley is Deceased hi anshulmahajan I googled it and got the same information as one ofour my lotters, the bite symbolizes the scientist who died from eating a poisoned bite of apple. That really makes better sense than the other ideas.
