petersum Strange that a chimney was never considered a security risk. Are banks generally that trusting? Or do they just rely on a safe or strong-room?

pyewacket All I can say is that there is a lot you don't know about in this world --we who follow the pagan path are by NO means atheists...I think you should do a bit more reading, and not be ready to state something as fact when it isn't--this can be highly insulting...

Exorcism of Demons or "evil" spirits

dark_joev @dark_joev (3034) • United States 10 Jun 11

I have done a little research into this Field of Exorcism. What I find interesting is that many religions from Pagan to Modern Christianity all have ways of getting rid of Demons that have taken control of the person. Some...

Adoniah I do not believe that the Devil messes with us either. I believe that it is the work of religion instilling this fear in the minds of children from infancy. We are programed to believe. Almost all civilizations have used some sort of demonic being to frighten...

Just an Ordinary Owl? I think that everyone should be free to choose what religion they want to follow when they reach an age to do so. Many religions recognise that, before a certain age, a person is not intellectually able to make personal choices and, as a result, the Roman...

Oneironaut I have noticed it has become quite popular for atheists to bash on the religious. Pompous, ignorant comments can come from both sides, but it doesn't prove anything to the favor of either side, except that humankind has a hard time dealing with the fact that...

Chiang_Mai_boy The primary difference is that Harry Potter is a novel written by a single author to entertain while the Bible is a collection of folklore and myths compiled over time for mostly political purposes.
