@booksnot Good to know- thanks for the response. Do you happen to know the specifics of the rights deal (i.e. when, if ever, it expires)? I wonder if there is a means by which the Alexander family could request that Disney relinquish the rights back to them so...

@booksnot I would be very interested in seeing these movies made as well. Just curious, what sources are claiming Disney is not likely to sell the rights? I have been curious to determine whether they would sell so that another production company could pursue...
