I am on accidental dissability retirement from a city and do not pay taxes on my pension. I am buying a house and want to know if I will have to file tax returns now.

AlexJordan1231 you are required to file a tax return on all money that you receive. You can change this by asking the government to already tax what you earn so you will not be required at the end of the year to claim your earnings.
