I think I first heard of this site from someone's discussion here. I like to look, but had never bought anything. It is a 'One a Day' site for great discounts on things. (http://www.woot.com/) They put something up at midnight...

suspenseful I am not a Wooter. This is the first time I heard about this site and I also wonder if it is open to Canadians, because if it were, I would not mind getting something from it, but then I suppose that one would have to consider shipping and handling for it as...

I ended up spending 4.5 days in jail. It was easy, just boring. They are skimpy on the food and the air conditioning was off for the first 2 days. About 20 or so women crammed together. I met people from all walks of life, but...

I just subscribed to this neat little daily digest. I was wondering how they choose which discussions, out of thousands, to put in the digest. I also wonder how similar one person's digest is to others, so I asked my Mom to...

estherlou I've always wanted to write, but never knew how to start. I do like writing poetry, though, and tend to do that off and on. I've never been "inspired" to write a book, and I think that "obsession" with the idea is necessary for you to be able to keep it up and...

This makes no sense to me. If we HAVE to wear seat belts, then motorcyclists should also be required to wear helmets. It's more dangerous to crash on a motorcyle, than in a car. Probably less chance to walk away from it without a...

TRWilliams02 That's just crazy. Helmets can be lifesavers... I think just for my own self safety I would wear one even if its not by law. You never know when an accident is going to occur. Again, better safe than sorry.

TRWilliams02 I know from where I am from its the law to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle. Now it doesn't have to be a full face covering helmet but they do atleast require to you wear the "shell" style helmets. The thing to is I know I wouldn't want to wear a seat...

estherlou I've always thought it would be "cool" to write a novel since I like reading so much. But, I think you have to be "obsessed" to be able to make yourself write long enough to finish a book. You need that compulsion to help you to the end. If it's just a neat...
