CorrectMeIfIAmRight The answer to your problem is matter-of-fact and straight to the point: ignore her and she will get the hint and go away. There's no reason to dwell or attack your character--you have a problem and I have the solution. Follow my advice and you will be rid of...

The Dark Tower Series

JonesKnows @JonesKnows (73) • Canada 19 Jan 09

The dark Tower Series has got to be the best of Stephen King. His magnum opus. His ability to intertwine reality and fiction is remarkable. I found myself actually staring to wonder if some dreams/ideas are just imagination, or a...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight I was fortunate to start the series after it was completed so I could read all of them at my own pace (and not wait impatiently for the next one to be published). I found myself thinking about the books a lot. Now, when I'm starving, I'm a-hongry (only those...

Did anyone watch the first episodes a couple weeks back?

LWatrous @LWatrous (101) • United States 14 Mar 07

This show is hilarious, but I think it has to be scripted to an extent because I don't think there are that many people out there who can't remember simple stuff. The show is hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, and was for a 6 episdoe...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight This show is definitely scripted! I watched this show a couple times. I also watch the Sarah Silverman Program. These 2 shows have something in common--the same actress. When Sarah remembers her past, the little girl that plays her is the same little girl...

what would you do if somebody told you you're ugly?

buknoy0127 @buknoy0127 (154) • Philippines 9 Feb 07

i've had friends who had a misunderstanding about this. but the question 'friend a' asked to 'friend b' what would you do if you're pretty? 'friend b' came rushing to our room crying. she told us what happened and we didn't know...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight I've been told both. First, I consider my self-esteem. Second, I consider the source. Third, I remember that being attractive is completely subjective. Tell Friend B that it doesn't matter what Friend A said. Looks aren't everything. They help, but the...

Judge Judy and and an Ebay Scam

whiteheather39 @whiteheather39 (24403) • United States 8 Feb 07

Judge Judy at her mean best. Did anyone see the TV show the other day day where one Ebay buyer was suing the seller? The lady bought 2 cell phones for over $400.00 when she received the package it was an envelope with a photo of...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight I saw that episode! I wished the seller's username for eBay would have been revealed. Judge Judy caught the seller in the lie because the seller noted that the phone weighed 4.9 oz and Judge Judy pointed out that the two photos combined didn't even come...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight Straightening your hair can destroy it, I hate to admit--just like curling it can. Ask your mom for a valid explanation; you being bold by 30 doesn't really answer the question of why she did it. Did you buying the straightener defy your mother's rules...

Is a driver's license really necessary?

TereFaerie @TereFaerie (386) • United States 4 Feb 07

I am in my late 20s, but I still don't have a driver's license. Everyone says that I need to get it before I get too old or I'll be afraid to drive. But I'm already afraid to drive, especially the way people in this city drive....

CorrectMeIfIAmRight If you're already afraid to drive and you don't feel the need, then why bother? You can't know what you're missing if you've never driven before. If you're content with using public transportation, keep at it!

I'm tired of reporting abuse. Does it really change anything?

unusualsuspect @unusualsuspect (2601) • United States 5 Feb 07

When I'm on any site I take the rules seriously, mostly because I've seen what can happen when too many people break the rules. It can eventually destroy a site. So I've reported a lot of abuse since I've been here, mostly...

CorrectMeIfIAmRight I'm new to MyLot so I don't know what a come-on for referrals means... Are you reporting abuse because the content is ridiculously offensive or because you don't agree with the opinion that's posted?

CorrectMeIfIAmRight I purchased Season 1 and Season 2 since I didn't have the patience to watch it weekly on Sci-Fi (even though there were 2 episodes) and I wanted to watch the mature rated version. I never get tired of watching it. I thought the show had a fabulous cast and I...
