actually i am wondering myself whether i can afford to lose the money i am going to spend during my vacation and whether i can cover medical expenses and emergency medical costs in my vacation destination,so my question here is...

Enzed13 hey, depending on where your going, eg a trip to the neighbouring state or crossing the globe, i would definitely say yes. Being injured oversas can be VERY costly and for the price of travel insurance its not really worth not having it. theres and old saying...
