Going crazy playing checkers with foods and different objects!

koopharper @koopharper (7598) • Canada 18 Oct 12

This discussion actually started at work in a fun way. One of the guys bought a new orange checkered shirt and in good fun we teased him all day about it. We were all bothered by management in that they were preparing for a work...

Eukenoru Very funny! Another thing you could play checkers with is milk. Chocolate vs. regular milk, hamburgers vs. hotdogs, and even oreo cookies vs vanilla wafers. =)

Every Month?!!

koopharper @koopharper (7598) • Canada 26 Sep 12

Mechanic at the bike shop gave me some sage advice that I've been given before and still ignore. First time was in college while I was training for a cross continent tour. I bought a top of the line bike chain and wore it out in...

Eukenoru I find that rather odd as well. Since they are in the business to make money though I guess quality isn't as important to them. They do that with a lot of products nowadays and yes frankly it irritates me. $210 is definitely worth saving rather than having...

Won't be very active on myLot till at least the end of the month.

koopharper @koopharper (7598) • Canada 7 Sep 12

No I haven't decided I don't like it here. No one here has done anything to upset me. I just spent two hours on the phone last night with a publisher who is interested in my writing. They wanted to get to know me some. They want...

Etiquette, when and after you eat, should you lick their plate?

Jollygoodwot @Jollygoodwot (57) • Canada 4 Feb 12

I've seen my share of people slurping and generally being messy but, is licking your plate really that bad? I mean it could actually save money and resources, Right? Think about it, when you lick the food off your plate aren't...

Eukenoru Yes in private or with people who don't mind I'd say yes it's okay to lick your plate. As for saving money on the dish soap. The stuff still on that plate won't be floating in the dishwater if licked off and therefore you don't need to change it as often....

My Computer is DYING!

EmmyLu18 @EmmyLu18 (102) • United States 3 Sep 12

Yupp, I don't see many months, maybe even weeks left for this poor thing. 4 years old, too. First the battery died about 2 years ago (FINALLY replaced that a few months ago) and then there started to be lines across the bottom...

Eukenoru Your computer is definitely getting worn down, but I can't say my computer is new either. The keys that are rubbed off for me are: Z,X,C,B,and S. and there is this weird crater in my left arrow key. And to top it all off I had a fan error once. As long...

My new ride!

koopharper @koopharper (7598) • Canada 10 Aug 12

Bought a cheap Walmart bike from a friend at work. Got it almost brand new. I've been riding it for a week now and I've already put more miles on it than the original owner just commuting back and forth to work. Yeah I'm...

Eukenoru The bike I was riding previously wasn't terrible, and has since been passed over to my brother when I got the new one. At first the twist grip shifting threw me for a loop but I've gotten used to it now, mostly I've taken it on joy rides so far but with...

When sleeping on your side

dolce_vita78 @dolce_vita78 (8062) • Philippines 27 Jan 12

I sleep on my side sometimes. Sometimes I am more comfortable with that position. And I am glad I met one of my friends who shared to me something her therapist told her. By the way, my friend undergoes therapy because of her...

Eukenoru I usually listen to calm music when I'm going to sleep. Casting crowns, and Owl city both have songs I tend to listen to before I get some shut-eye and I get much better dreams afterwards. =)
