Has anyone converted a Digital Picture Frame to PC monitor?

I have been trying to find a small cheap monitor for my Laptop to use in my car to display Microsoft Streets with the laptop in the back seat and the cheap monitor in the front. So far the cheapest monitor in the 7" to 9" range...
