Heradog I use Ubuntu(linux Os) and I have been using Firefox for years.. I have gotten tired of the crashes also,, There are a lot of choices out there even on a linux OP.. I go back and forth between Firefox, chrome and Opera. It depends on what I am doing..

Heradog The best answer I can come up with is the reformat and install ubuntu (linux) Dumps the windows. I have been using linux for 12 years and I have never had a virus, malware, or worms. that is the best thing you can do.. dump the windows.
