Once in awhile, I'll come home to find a large praying mantis on the outside wall near my front door. They're weird bugs. They are green, look like they're praying, and have heads that can swivel 180 degrees. They rarely fly away....

Jaded Jinn @TheHorse it could be. California stays warm for the most part so they might be laying. Out here they are looking for a warm place to hide for the winter by now. Here's a picture of there egg sack..

Jaded Jinn He mentioned every the from proper hive maintenance to better tasting honey. And if I remember right, splicing queens.. I'm not sure what that means but I'll find out. :-)

Jaded Jinn @Missmwngi it's amazing isn't it.. how something so small can be so large at the same time. I always loved babies but I didn't want any because I feared they would make me soft, and they did but they made me stronger to. There's nothing I wouldn't do for them....

Its 7am here and the whole house is awake the kids woke up before 5a, crazy how they are up up so early yet on school days they have to be forced out of bed before 7am. Guess ill be enjoyjng coffee with the sunrise this morning.
