In the wake of last night's debate, I was wondering, how much does our vote actually count. With the use of the electoral college, my vote doesn't seem to count as much as someone in California. Is there even a point in voting?...

Siduri "There is no reason for that today." Oh, amen, sister! Sing it from the mountain tops! It's a relic of 18th century elitism! It's time has come and gone, alone with powered wigs, poll taxes and established churches. When the revolution comes, the electoral...

Did you watch the debate? What did you think? Do you think there was a winner? Did it actually affect anyone choice? Look forward to hearing all the comments from both sides!

Nanette Piotrowski That is the major problem @Kortneyls . Most people don't realize it either. The Electoral College should have been banned over 100 years ago. The only reason it was started was that back then (horse & buggy days), votes were only tallied in Washington DC from...

Xavier Bage For me it is not important who does well in the debate. In the past I have seen a winner in debate isn't necessarily the better candidate.

Laurel (L_B) @Kortneyls It could have something to do with the move. Hard to say but it is not right for her to use the child like that. The child would be missing you too since you were such a huge part of her life.

How old do you think a kid should be before they get to spend the night at a family members house? How old do you think they should be before they start having sleepovers with unrelated friends?

paigea @Kortneyls It does seem to me that people do them less. But I sure remember how much I enjoyed them as a girl and I can't see anything wrong with them. Regardless of what I read.

paigea @Kortneyls if you try it, read the info on the new shoppers thread oc the mysteryshopforum. Don't ask which mysteryshopping company shops a particular client. It is unethical to reveal their clients. The rules of the forum mention not to do that.

paigea For family, it could be immediately. Things happen and sometimes baby has to stay with family. To have a sleepover at a friend's? I did that from the second grade. My girls were a bit older. It depends on each child I think.
