Has anyone seen the movie 'The Persuit of Happiness'?

Just wondering if anyone has seen this movie and what were your thoughts? Would you recommend it? It got a bad review in my local paper but I'd much rather hear opinions from other users as I've found that reviews in the paper...

MYRoss I really love the moive! Last year I graduated from university,along with the finacial crisis, a satisfactory job seems impossible. My family has lost a lot for my 20years'study and have a high expectation on me. All of that make me fell pressure and confusion...
