lynnchua I'm not really sure about that but I think some of them may be correct but not all. The old saying are mostly some of the things the old people get from their experience.

Alnitak I think they are mostly true but you also have to contextualize them. The one you quoted talked about a rod but we don't have to take it literally, the meaning is still true even if maybe now children are educated in a different way.

OldplaceGB If i go out to travel,i will go by train.First,train is also very quickly.Second,it is cheap realitively.what's important is that when on the train,we can watch the scenery.

moinuddin14 You can do is urge them and say to leave a place for the old or do one thing just wear a shirt which reads "Respect the Old, Give a seat to the old".Atleast few will respond to this and this may continue.I really appreciate you on the good job you are doing.
