I really do aim for a quiet life – surrounded by nature and no other humans – which is why I rent a farm house on a huge cattle property with no neighbours and a river on 2 sides, just me and my dog. Even friends with an address...

Sharon @MoonHowler17 We are a little fearless when we are young and like you said, being such a young age, we wouldn't have seen the warning signs.

Sharon I can certainly understand. If I am cremated, I don't want to be in an urn either. I want to do the reef or be sprinkled over Disneyworld.

When the ground squirrels destroyed our garden this past Summer, I joked that they were "vicious herbivores," and that they were in attack mode. I was only kidding. They were pretty bold, but they never attacked me or any of the...

The Horse I'm glad you decided to stick around. I've known some to checked out quickly, and others who committed slower suicide, via alcohol or drugs. Music can bring back incredibly vivid memories, can't it?

Four Walls Wow. What a post. I don't think I'll ever hear "Fast Car" or "For My Lover" in the same way again. May I ask how suicide is perceived in Australia? For decades, here in the States, many people dismissed it as "the coward's way out," but now I think more...
