The high price of being sick in the United States

mssnow @mssnow (9484) • United States 19 Jun 07

I have no health insurance. So like yesterday when i finally went to the doctor after waiting for a week and a half hoping it would go away, I paid the price. The free clinics couldn't get me in till the end of august. Yes I am...

OhMyDayz The only thing we have to pay for in the UK is denistry and that costs a fortune, so inevitably the poor in the country have bad teeth. Also, the rich do have the choice of private healthcare. I could not imagine having to pay to see a doctor. We have...

Watching and waiting to strike

mssnow @mssnow (9484) • United States 18 Jun 07

Do you ever get the feeling that you are being watched?? That your every move is being recorded. That someone is trying to trip you up . To make you do or something that they can take out of context and use against you. Doesn't...

If a cat gets spayed...

beautyqueen26 @beautyqueen26 (16030) • United States 18 Jun 07

I'm worried that my female cat might run outside and get into a fight with one of the neighborhood cats. She's a real puff-ball, but she can hiss a lot! If a cat gets spayed, does she lose the ability to defend herself?

6 responses •

OhMyDayz Not at all. We had the most independent cat who could hold her own against man or beast after she was spaded. All it does is stop them having kittens and nothing else. Both my other cats are also able to defend themselves against other cats. At least she...

OhMyDayz Until you are personally put into this situation it is very easy to make assumptions and feel that abortion is the wrong choice. However, accidents do happen, couples have made a family and an addition to their family economically or otherwise is not...

Entertainers and Ethics

Modestah @Modestah (11177) • United States 16 Jun 07

OhMyDayz Personally I do not believe that entertainers should hold the moral high ground, as they are just the same as us and I do not confess to having the perfect life. To me they do a job the same as the rest of us and that is where it should stop, but sadly the...

Blake Lewis - Should have won?

OhMyDayz I don't think he was cheated, Jordin had a better voice and Blake's range was very narrow. Once I had got past the fact he could do the sounds, his voice was not strong, whereas Jordins was. I am sure there will be a market for him and he wil do well, just...
