momoftwo Sounds like someone is trying to take advantage of you. If they are hiring you, you get paid training. No questions. That's just the way it is. I would suggest calling or sending an email to their corporate office.

UK_Shree I have no idea about whether it is legal or not but it doesn't sound very reasonable and I would not be happy to do it. If they want to train you, they should pay you for it. I am sure most companies do not expect to train their new staff and not pay...
