Koalemos @ShilGreenwood This would suggest that many Gallifreyans would have suddenly found their self with two mothers or two fathers. Also many would find their self married to the same sex.

Koalemos @ShilGreenwood Most gender changes on Earth are driven by circumstance, mainly occurring when one gender is absent from a group. This is unlikely to apply to The Doctor. We have already seen The Master as both male and female, which I objected to.
