Your Highness Emperor Albert Whisker @SometimesINovel I think he will be anti-hero on his own movies but he will be a villain on his crossover appearances.

Bluedoll @SometimesINovel Wish they would pick up that industry here. Artistic people are always interesting people to rub shoulders with. I was wondering about if there was script writing involved in that process or how that worked. I'm one to look at movies and...

Writing a book? Looking to publish? Then the question of whether you should self publish or publish traditionally with an agent has probably crossed your mind more than a few times as you're editing your work. Well, as a somewhat...

Kendric Boykin @SometimesINovel That is the biggest perk of traditional publishing. However, owning the rights to your work sounds appealing.

Your Highness Emperor Albert Whisker Did Deadpool break the 4th wall in the movie? In the comics he is aware that he is a fictional character.

So. I'm a writer that's always written long works. Novellas and Novels. Every time I attempt writing a short story, it ends up becoming a novella. And now, a few friends of mine are going to be collecting short stories for...

RK Finnell @SometimesINovel What's funny is that I tend to write very tight so I have a difficult time getting to a certain word count. In some respects it is a good thing but in others not so good! LOL

Sissy15 I love movies and TV shows with decent plots and where they show character growth. I mean yeah I want some happy endings too, at least eventually, but some people just want it to stay happy, but how boring would that be? Could you imagine a movie or story...

Kendric Boykin Not to mention, that the publisher already has an audience. All they have to do is announce that the book is coming out on their website and social media pages, and their readers may buy it.

WorDazza Writing to word limits is not an easy thing to do. The only tip I can give you is to cut out anything that isn't essential to advancing the plot. Definitely no sub plots and no flowery prose.

Siduri Funny you should ask. My short stories are all over the place. My shortest is about 250 words. My longest is 11,000. (Yes, that's the correct number of 0s. *sigh*) The only thing I could suggest is to start with a single sentence, a theme you wish to...

Chani I tend to be more of a short-story writer, but it ultimately depends on the natural course of the story. One idea is to use an excerpt from a longer piece that could stand on its own. If you're already thinking of expanding the story, maybe put more focus into...
