How meditation connects to our daily needs?

People have thought of doing meditation for so called "Mental Peace" or "Peace of MIND". But have you ever thought (with your own mind) that Mind can never be in Peace! So, if we do Mediation and involve our Mind in it, then...

Start_Here This is little contradicting, mind only want pleasure and not all thing we do in a day involve pleasure, aparts the night works :D. Meditation is surely for mind but it hardly connects to daily life.
