Listening to an Annoying friend

Lets say a friend, a really close friend, always comes to you and tells you their probelm but sometimes its too much. How do you deal with it? I simply stay there and listen to them, dont want them to feel bad.

Tarnum i think a conversation is needed, at least i should let her know what's on my mind and get to know what's on hers. yeah we want to act good and not let them down, but sooner or later we're gonna face it.
