Google is the best company that could pull such a thing off as they have plenty of funds to do so. Its just they would have to get the support of computer companies. It would actually give Microsoft competition. For all I know...

Timajing If google create their own operating system, obviously, they will make it free. How could google make a system without earning anything? So they will not do this.
