What is the root cause of terrorism?

Instead of seeking cures for this ever increasing destructive disease can something be done to prevent it from growing? Can we not go to the root of the problem and analyze the reason for its outburst?

Mass_Sonu @Wittyfool One region's terrorist can be another region's freedom fighter. But I agree with @atoz1to10 However noble or perverted the cause is, senseless violence & killing of innocents, cannot and should never be justified.
