Fascism and the Right Wing

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 10 Nov 10

There's a myth out there that fascism is the extreme of the right wing. Sorry to burst some bubbles, but that isn't true. This is usually done by people on the Left who are trying to discredit the right. Fascism is a form of...

When did being an anti-colonialist turn into a bad thing

gewcew23 @gewcew23 (8007) • United States 8 Nov 10

If someone wrote liberal secular marxist progressive socialist maoist anti-colonialist keynesian economy loving democrats you would think that this is a derogatory comment especially in the context that it was meant to be...

IsisGreen I'd gladly be described as a "liberal, secular, [marxist], progressive, [socialist], anti-colonialist keynesian economy loving democrat". The only one I'd take strong issue with is being called a Maoist. PS. Who, what or where is Scape?

Is a $1,000 a lot of money to you?

thegreatdebater @thegreatdebater (7316) • United States 4 Nov 10

I am no millionaire, nor am I struggling, but $1,000 is still a lot of money to me. However, to some the ELITIST in this country it is pocket change. While discussing the election, Bill O'Reilly, and Laura Ingraham made a bet on a...

Necroborg That amount of money is already a lot in our country since the dollar exchange rate is still high. But just looking at it is already a lot of money from a regular standard of living.

So sorry, Kentucky.

As Rand Paul would say, "accidents happen." 54% of you accidentally just bit off your nose despite your face. At least the wicked witch O'Donnell is gone. Waiting on the news on Angle.

anniepa I guess Kentucky got what they asked for but sadly it will affect us all no doubt, and not in a good way! Thank God Angle went down too, along with O'Donnell, whose "concession" speech was a bit strange. She sure didn't sound like someone who had just lost by...

ladybugmagic You have no idea of my background or what religions I have dabbled in. Unlike you, I investigate options. laglen - I set you right where I set the tea party. You think you are smart, but, so painfully misguided. And, wow, I didn't word an idiom...

Vote For Me and I'll Tell You What I'll Do AFTER I Take Office...

anniepa @anniepa (27943) • United States 31 Oct 10

That sounds pretty preposterous, doesn't it? I mean, wouldn't you think it would be impossible for someone to get elected to ANY office, let alone the U.S. Senate with that kind of campaign? Well, that's pretty much what we're...

ladybugmagic The republicans have no plans, outside of continuing to dumb down Americans and keep them in the dark and running in circles, and somehow masquerading all our problems as the democrats fault. Mitch McConnell needs to be fired. He needs to do his work in...
