Who is to blame for high gas prices?

thegreatdebater @thegreatdebater (7316) • United States 20 Feb 12

Gas prices have skyrocketed the last few weeks, and there is no reason at all for this. While people have been blaming world events for this, oil as a whole hasn't gone up as much as gas. There are many other factors that should...

amko1of1 First off the prices are based on supply and demand. Secondly the price changes based on expectations of supply and demand. Also oil is an inelastic good, which basically means that as the price goes up, the demand for the good will only slightly change if it...

The United Nations planned a big meet-and-vote session today, in order to condemn Syria and its president. These self-important representatives of nations met to take action? Nah. Met to plan on providing relief for the...

amko1of1 Well first off the UN is a big waste of space, because their are opposing views on everything that have veto power (mainly China and Russia on one side, and the U.S. and its allies on the other). Condemning is something that must take place in a series of...

You know I have had a few disagreements with people on politics. One of the most notable things would be the dislike of President Obama since they claimed that the word 'TRILLION' was only used to described the nation's debt when...

amko1of1 ok first off your math is completely wrong. You say that Bush spent more money well yes thats true, by, according to your figures, by about 305 billion dollars, but here is the catch, that was in 8 years, meaning Obama has added to the national debt a sum of...

Do you really what honest politicians? Would you vote for one?

urbandekay @urbandekay (18278) 7 Feb 12

amko1of1 What you must realize is that politicians most of the time cant be honest. First off they have the constituents to think of, with their wants and needs. If you can please them by saying a few words then you get a few more votes and lets face it, if I were to...

amko1of1 Well first off, President Obama is not going to put us in another war for as long as he is president. I dont think Gingrich or Romney will either unless we are pushed (a.k.a. they actually test a nuke). The only way the United States will ever enter a war with...

So you think unions are evil and the problem with the economy?

EvanHunter @EvanHunter (4026) • United States 27 May 10

Why 3D movies are made in less number.

1anurag1 @1anurag1 (3576) • India 24 May 10

Why 3D movies are made in less number. I have seen merely 3,4 3D movies in my whole life. Even i am in condition to watch any 3D movie, but i am not sure why they are not making them. When there is alot of potential

2 responses

amko1of1 3D movies, while cool in movies like Avatar and a few others can be very childish and distracting in other movies. The reason a movie like Iron Man 2 wasnt in 3D is because it would have reduced the effectiveness of the movie. Another reason there arent more...
