DeenaD I have given borth four times: I did it three times without an epidural, and then one time with an epidural. With the epidural, the pain was gone, but the urge to push was feeble and impaired, and so the pushing stage took longer.

aimeejgrant i have two children...My first son Tre's Labour i used pethadine and gas and my new son Kody was an emergancy c section so i had to have an epidural. i have a pretty high pain tolerance and u only feel the local antisetic go in.

catwoman1459 Yep im a brave one. I had all 4 with out any meds at all. It was nice to get up and walk around after giving birth. I also went home the same day i had them. I dont care for hospitals.

AprilNicole1983 I started my labor without an epi. After 15 hours and back labor starting, I decided to get it. The pain from the contractions was very intense because it was in my back.

massaj03 yeah I finally ended up agreeing to get it..I didn't want to and when I finally told them yes, it was ALMOST too late..so I am glad cause I was in pain!!!
