linux/ubuntu on a usb stick - need help

I just tried to load a live ubuntu onto a 1 meg memory stick using instructions from a web site. I got the OS loaded and it seems good, but for some reason I can't but from it. I have it on a cd but want the convenience of the usb...

austinchungath I tried PClinuxOS Minime on a 1 GB drive and had a similar problem. The problem was fixed when I disconnected my webcam just before loading it. Most of the devices are not recognised by the linux Live cd's to minimise space, Try disconnecting unwanted cables...
