What is the difference between chowder and soup?

I know chowder is cream based, and thick- soup is usually made with a broth and much thinner the next thing would be stew which is very thick. But apart from that ???

My belly button is black from the inside and i cant really clean it much innie belly button. i clean it but the black stuffis hard to get out. is it infected?
