cbarnst Ok, I see what you mean. Like I said the phrase "to cope with" implies a hardship. For example to cope with illness or to cope with the loss of a loved one. It means more to deal with or to overcome or to get over. I don't think that phrase fits the context...

cbarnst For me the chick Filet controversy is just the most recent example of the great screaming contest. I also stopped paying attention to political ads and even debates. If I happen to catch one I take it with a grain of salt.
