I am fed up of seeing new discussions about the same old things in this topic... People asking what is the best way to make money over and over... If you read the Guidelines for mylot, you will see that they say you should "search...

daxdax Yes, that's the ideal way how it should work, but it requires alot of moderation to be succesful. Maybe people would start acting correctly if they would get banned for 2-7 days if they post repetitive discussions (or break other rules). The problem is...

Do You or do you know anyone who makes music?

Chreezyfbaby @Chreezyfbaby (25) • United States 15 Mar 08

I would like to hear what success on different levels people have achieved, and what kind of music, do you do it for the love of it? what are your goals? I make music myself, my goal is to try to earn some money :)

3 responses

daxdax I have produced electronic music more or less actively for 6-8 years now... It's a hobby for me, and I don't expect to get paid for it. That way I can make the music I want and avoid being controlled by popular demands, which would of course cut some...

What is your favorite music to listen to and who are your favorite singers?

icyorchid @icyorchid (2564) • United States 14 Mar 08

I love easy listening and country music. My hubby grew up on old country, but when I started listening to today's country, I fell in love with the singers. My favorites are Keith Urban (urban baby is my nickname for him)....

daxdax I love music with a passion... just can't live without it. Most of the time you can catch me listening to electronic music. Trance, Industrial, Psy... everything. I like them mostly because there are no limitations in possible sounds and soundscapes. BT is one...

daxdax That's pretty high quality for a home pc, but there is more powerful computers around, and alot of them. Usually they are for server use though. Your pc would be awesome if you had SLI system on it, which means 2 graphics cards working together.

In india, It has been proven that these soft drinks contain harmful ingredients in heavy percentage.. Should these companies still be allowed.... to sells these poisons

16 responses

daxdax Eh. I don't know about India's laws against cigarets, but in my opinion they are 100x more harmful than Coke or Pepsi. I agree, these drinks aren't healthy in long term, but you can die on water aswell, if you drink it too much. So if coke can kill you, and...

daxdax I'll bump up Opera aswell, it feels more natural and is also very flexible. Firefox isn't bad either, actually I'm using it right now (at work). Both of them are good, but I hate IE. It has the worst support for html, xml and css standards.

daxdax Yes, there are many HYIPs that pay, but it's very hard to tell if they are trusted or not. I assume you have just tried these "hyip-games" which offer 200% in just a few days (or similar, obivious overpayment). You can get some profit from these if you are...

Linux or MS windows

prashantjadhav @prashantjadhav (96) • India 24 Oct 06

which OS is the better one? Linux or MS Windows? I think for server level Linux is much better but for end user MS Windows are always preferable. I would like to know your opinio on it.

16 responses

daxdax Linux is still mostly used as servers, but the developement for home usage has been great. If you are interested in trying a Linux after using Windows, I suggest getting Ubuntu, their motto is "Linux for human beings", which is kinda self-explanitory (sp)....

daxdax I would say Intel aswell, at least if you talk about newer processors, because they have made well with Intel Core 2 Duo on different types of tests. It's still bit pricy, but it'll come down eventually.

daxdax 5 times per day, I guess there should be few more. To people who want to lose weight: It's not how often you eat, it's WHAT you eat. It's not healthy to eat only 1-2 per day in long term.

daxdax Internet definately, because you can decide what you watch/do and aren't a 'slave' of tv-program schedules. Also you can download pretty much all series from internet and watch them any time you want, of course this is usually illegal.
