Religion and Suicide?

duckteam @duckteam (38) 21 Dec 08

what is your religion's stance on suicide? I think suicide is one of the most hardest things to talk about as the subject has a tendancy to make people shy away from something so dreadful. Mainly because out of all the ways to...

spalladino I'm also a Catholic and was raised to believe that suicide is a sin. Life is a gift, given to us by God, and to end your life is to throw that gift back in His face. I don't believe that it's possible to commit a perfect act of contrition for a sin you haven't...

LaurenInLA I am a Roman Catholic and my religion believes that suicide is a sin. Those who commit suicide would not go to heaven unless they completed a perfect act of contrition before they died and would not be buried on consecrated ground in a Catholic cemetary.

Where have you travelled and which place was your favourite?

LaurenInLA Wow! What a tremendous experience. It'll be a trip that you'll remember for the rest of your life. I live in L.A. and we've done a lot of traveling through the states but not much out of the country. We've been to Mexico, the Bahamas, and on both the east and...

Do you know Anyone that can help my brother?

duckteam @duckteam (38) 21 Dec 08

Crack cocaine has destroyed my brother's life. Instead of taking his medicine for schizophrenia he takes crack cocaine. I'm worried he'll never recover from this deadly addiction. Not many people know enough about crack but...

jennysp8 One thing that needs addressed is that there is no "cure" for drug or alcohol addiction. Once a addict always an addict...now don't take that the wrong way - it does not mean the addict always has to use...but when they are clean - even if they are clean for...

sirrob You won't be able to do that since your post is still 1 and the terms says that you need to have at least 500 posts first before enjoying this feature. So sorry for that but there's no other way but to keep on posting in order to reach such numbers.
