eden32 There are some concerns if you nurse while pregnant. The two big ones are nipple stimulation causing contractions and that it's harder to maintain your health if you are both lactating & pregnant. The contractions are a concern if you are at risk for a...

Did you enjoy breastfeeding?

GuateMom @GuateMom (1411) • Canada 14 Jun 07

I have to say that I am not impressed with breastfeeding. I just don´t like it. I´m doing it because it is the best thing for my baby, but I really hate it. Has anyone else felt this way? Before my second son was born (my...

listenup I chose to breastfeed, but understand it is not for everyone. I breastfed both my children for 13 months (weaning in the 12th was difficult for me, but I know someone who willingly went 2yrs), and I am aware of the benefits to the children and to us mothers as...

Concert Excitement

erythisis @erythisis (29) • United States 11 Jun 07

I'm going to the one "nearby" this Wednesday with my husband, father-in-law and friend of my father-in-law. Though I'm looking forward to it, I'm also a bit "meh." The only concert I've been to before was a Dave Matthews one and...

bbsbeesknees I used to be a major concert hopper-40+ shows a year back in the day. But as I got older-the excitement has died off a little, (I actually go to more operas now!:))The audiences were too young or too drunk if they were older-the drinking behavior of other...

I do product demo's part-time. Yesterday I had to do a particular toy item (plastic blocks) which required some extra set-up time. I didn't know I would have to put together a strong, cardboard three-shelf book case for the...

If you take a women's course, does that make you a feminist or a lesbian?

queenajasmina @queenajasmina (449) • United States 14 Jan 07

I am now taking a women's course at school and I took it because I feel that women are neglected when it comes to high school history classes. Since I am a woman, I decided it would be good to take that class. But whenever I tell...

strawberrymudd There is no reason that taking a course like that would make you a lesbian or a feminist. People don't necessarily understand that there is a history and culture to women, and it is in fact, very interesting to learn! I took a women's sociology (sociology of...
