cold water and throat infection

i love to drink cold refrigerated water,but i cant as i get throat infection,why do we get throat infection by drinking refrigerated water,

fictitus Cold water kinda temporarily immobilizes the cilia (hair like structures that trap bacteria etc) in your throat and leaves your body vulnerable to infection for that period. I've noticed that if I drink cold water in polluted cities I get a throat infection...
