What is exactly in ubuntu alternate disk.. i have the 9.04 version of ubuntu normal disk. Is there any use if i download the alternate disk?

frogger84 Thanks for your response!I still like the style of installation like redhat 9. you can choose any type of media to complete the installation. but the installation become more complex especialy in rencent distribution
