Irresistible Revolution

I am reading this book. It is by Shane Claibourne. He is a part of The Simple Way, a group of Chistians seeking to truly follow Christ and not live a suburban "christian" lifestyle. So, I wonder, has anyone else read this...

pendragon I want to read it!! In this day and age, I think Christians would be taken less seriously, because of the materialistic nature of this lousy society we live in,whilst a percentage would find it righteous, more would probably find it insane.I think we should...

Dress code

2timothy @2timothy (794) • Philippines 14 Jan 07

Some churches require sisters to wear skirts and head-covering especially during Lord's day worship while other churches meet barefoot. Do you have a dress code in the church?

kesfylstra We do not. Most people make an effort to dress up to show honor, but if someone showed up in jeans, they would be just as welcome as someone in a suit.

kdarrell @kdarrell (1562) • Canada 27 Oct 06

When you first learned to sew, did you teach yourself or take a class? I bought a sewing machine and taught myself. Currently I am working on a quilt that a friend of mine wants made for a little bit of a profit.

ssh123 The seat belt wearing regulation was introduced in Bangalore quite recently. Many of the old cars had no facility at all. Traffic police levy penalties for those who fail to follow the rules. I do wear the seat belt so also my son who sits in the front seat.
