They say you can choose your friends, but you cannot choose your family?

hendria @hendria (69) • South Africa 7 Mar 07

Do you agree with this statement?

1 response

hendria ye, I suppose so. If you have a brother or sister who just not want to come right, there is no way that you can get rid of them or drop them and move on

Why does television and computer take up so much of our young children's time?

hendria @hendria (69) • South Africa 19 Feb 07

Why do parents allow their kids spend so much time infront of the television or the computer? Kids no longer play the games we used to play when we were kids. A close relatives 8 year old son started getting severe seizures on a...

Are single parents better parents than having both parents

hendria @hendria (69) • South Africa 1 Feb 07

I am a single mother, and find it so much easier to be only one parent. Is this so or is it just in individual cases. I left my daugther's father when I was 5mnths pregnant, and he had no involvement in our lives.

1 response

hendria maybe not, but my experience is if I say no, it remains no. I agree, it must maybe be nicer to have both, but then both must be active in the childs life.
