Are the cricketing rules becoming batting friendly just like the pitches??

In India West Indies match more than 600 runs were scored that day..earlier South Africa chased more than 400 runs against Australia..Don't u think that the rules are just to good for batting friendly..I know that audiences enjoy...

According to me it was correct to go with 4 bowlers as india was struggling mainly in batting section...But the injury to ganguly and absence of shewag, really made india's choices for bowlers very tight!!what do you all think...
