An early Pyramid - this pic shows and early pyramids. That was made in several stages. It started as a mastaba (same as grave).it was then extended at different times, which gave it a shape of a stepped triangle, and from here only the CONCEPT of a Pyramid was derived. Then the later pyramids were not stepped.
