The Modern Thinker Man - Hello myLotter's! This is a drawing I created very quickly to settle an issue of my own identity. I posted 5 days ago a drawing of a self portrait of a man diagnosed with schizophrenia (a devastating mental illness). Then I posted a question about 'Genius or Crazy,' but I was hesitant to reveal my own true identity because of the perception and stigma behind mental illness. However, after graciously receiving such good feedback from 2 other members, which made me feel more welcome, I have now decided to reveal my own true identity with this photo 'The Modern Thinker Man'. I know that this drawing is full of tension and anger because I had a trying day. It is, however, not meant to be thrown in the face of the two members who responded to my letter but rather to apologize to them and thank them for making me realize that having a mental illness or even being misdiagnosed is no one's fault. I feel so relieved now that I am writing this and of course I feel relieved and welcome to myLot now that I know what type of peopple are here. Thankyou so much you 2 memebrs. You know who you are.
