Made about 20 years ago..it presents the story of an extra terrestial creature that lands on earth and is befriended by a little boy..E.T. bonds with the boy but later developes homesickness. E.T. becomes ill and the only cure ..or this .. is to return home..If you haven't seen the movie before..look it up..Have lot's of kleenex at hand as this movie is a tear jerker as well.
