Kitchen computer - The dream of the Internet-enabled refrigerator may have gone the way of Pets.com and free delivery of candybars to your doorstep (RIP, Kozmo), but there are still companies that just won't rest until they bring the Web into your kitchen. The Beyond Icebox flipscreen '04 is a Wi-Fi-enabled 'all-in-one entertainment center for the kitchen' that includes television, Internet, DVD/CD player, FM radio and home video monitoring. The bulk of the machine fits underneath a cabinet with a touch screen that folds down when needed. It comes with a wireless keyboard the vendor claims is washable. And although we admit it would be cool to be able to reference our online recipe boxes or watch a DVD while peeling potatoes, this is all sounding a little too Audrey for our comfort.
