merie13 @merie13 (85) • United States 9 Jan 10

How do you feel about artificial sweetners vs regular sugars? They say regular is better for you yet they say artifical is a way to help you loose wight. They negative to sweetners is cancerous and reguar is that if consumed to...

johnrp If one needs a sweetener, sugar is probably safer for most people. I've become accustomed to drinking coffee without any sweetener. I can also heat cereal without sweetener.

Will you cook when you are hungry at midnight?

yenwie84 @yenwie84 (1344) • Malaysia 13 Jul 08

Definitely I will not cook at midnight no matter how hungry I am,because I am too lazy for that. If I am too hungry, I will just grab a few pieces of biscuits or make myself a cup of hot chocolate. Or if there is any instant...

johnrp If I were hungry at midnight, I might have cheese and crackers. I've read that cheese is a good food to eat late at night for people who have been exercising at the gym earlier in the day. I wouldn't use the stove at that time of night except maybe to boil...

johnrp I use a laptop so that I can sit at the kitchen table while I am using it and then put it away when I'm not using it. I have a small house and I don't want to dedicate any space permanently to a desktop computer.

Catholics do you consider yourselves Christians?

chichi_peralta @chichi_peralta (6) • United States 11 Jul 08

Because Christians don't seem to think you are? What are your thoughts? I asked a question earlier and most of the Christians make it sound like you guys aren't Christian. I know as well as most of you that if it wasn't for you...

johnrp Catholics are in the mainstream of Christianity, as are the various Eastern Orthodox churches. The Protestant sects that exist primarily in the United States are outside of the mainstream. They are local heresies from the point of view of people in the...

How do you eat an orange?

above31rubies @above31rubies (1863) • United States 4 Mar 08

Do you cut it into quarters or do you peel it and separate it into sections? I like to peel and section mine. Hubby says he doesn't care, and I don't think he does, but if left to his own devices, he heads for the knife to...

coffeeshot @coffeeshot (3783) • Australia 3 Mar 08

johnrp I never get tired of my favorite movies: Some Like It Hot, Juliet of the Spirits, Tom Jones, and Auntie Mame. Both versions of The Parent Trap are on television fairly often, and I find that I am able to watch them over and over and still enjoy them.

Okay, I'm 42 and I already started feeling the effects of the whole, "getting old" thing. So for all of you my age and older, what can I expect to feel like in another 5,10,15,20+ years? I consider myself to be fairly healthy,...

Mental Illness

Georgia making seperate public schools for boys and girls any thoughts?

gem4678 @gem4678 (220) • United States 19 Feb 08
