Does anyone have any good New Year's Eve or Day superstitions? I grew up eating black-eyed peas on January 1 because it's supposed to be good luck for the coming year. Any others?

Oh my goodness! I miss travel but simply can't afford to go anywhere this year. If I could, I would go to Japan to check out the churches of Tadao Ando around Osaka. Or I would go to the Maldives and snorkel my brains out. Maybe...
