Is politics so dark?

In this TVplay(prison break), high officials in government made up lies,brought false charges against people and slaughtered. Do you think politics so dark in reality?

I enjoy watching Prison BReak, first because Of Michael Scofied - Wentworth Miller in real life,, for me he is a good actor,, i love him.. what else can i say?

karen2007 He's a nice and strong character in PB though I have to say he's not the best actor when compared to some others. He might work more on his mimics and face expressions sometimes.
