Ladies, do you feel intimidated when taking your car to the Garage?

I recently had to take my car to have its MOT and felt that I would get ripped off if they saw a woman, so sent down my other half, are there any other women out there that feel the same way?

In a typical day what do you do? if you could make time for something what would it be? For me I would like to make more time for my family and less time working but dont we all!

kerrydunk1983 sounds like you have a busy day, I work full time and really wish I could spend more time with my son, I have to make the most of the weekends! I have given a + rating for you!

Is recycling important?

Do you recycle, how does your local authority deal with recycling, is it enough? My local authority have a box for tins and jars, but nothing for cardboard, vegetable peelings, we have a brown bin for garden waste but vegetable...

kerrydunk1983 thank you for your response, I agree that the councils are doing the minumum they can get away with, I do love to recycle but never really get the time to go to the bottle banks ect.. again no plastics or cardboard can be put in the bins how ridiculous!

kerrydunk1983 I am sure I was a lot older than that when my stabilisers came off! I wish I could say it was me that taught him but it was my parents that kept persevering running up and down the fields and wearing themselves out!!

Rinsing toddlers hair

i have a 15 month old and she hates getting her hair rinsed off during her bath. i've tried everything i can think of...any ideas?
