momof3040708 The thing with iron in breastmilk is, yes, there's less of it. But because it is baby's natural food, the iron is easily digested and absorbed by the baby. At 6 months, it's also recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and La Leche League )their...

momof3040708 ABSOLUTELY on the portion sizes!! My kids get *one* bowl of chips, cheezy snacks, popcorn, etc. If we buy candy at the checkout, it is something they can share. (like the 2 Reese's cups, they each get one, or something--they are 5 and 2 I think that's...

momof3040708 That's how I got started, with my first I had a little thing that went right in the bed, but with little sides, because I was nervous about rolling on him. But by the time he got too big for it, I got over that, and I just couldn't NOT keep sleeping with him!...

momof3040708 my dh is from a culture where it's NORMAL to bedshare w/baby. HE actually said he missed baby girl the first night I put her in her own bed. (I figured it was time, we'd gotten moved and new baby coming in a few weeks then.)
