muppetsnap Most people, the people who can afford cars... But public transit is often the lifeline which helps the most vulnerable gain some mobility. And with todays city planning, it would be easy to find places where you'd need to walk a mile just to buy milk.

muppetsnap It's more expensive now, but it might not be down the line. Vat grown cows anyone? No real food needed to feed them, no exposure to infection etc, nice and tender, and you can stack them to the ceiling... It's actually perhaps a better way to create food...
